Beef & Bacon Hotdish

Total Time: 40 mins Difficulty: Intermediate

This beef and bacon hotdish was an instant hit in our house. Everyone went up for seconds and I’m confident this recipe will be one we return to frequently in our meal rotation.

I recently saw someone on Instagram share a similar hotdish, but they didn’t share any of the measurements for the recipe. So, I decided to use the ingredients as inspiration and put my own spin on the recipe and it could not have turned out better!

It’s made with only 6 simple ingredients and serves as an incredible “comfort-food” meal. This hotdish is great for anytime of the year, but it’s absolutely perfect to enjoy during these cold, winter months!

Here’s all you need:

  • 4 cups (cooked) spaghetti squash
  • 2 lbs (cooked) ground beef
  • 1 package (cooked) bacon
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese + more to top
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • Salt to taste

Here’s how we make it:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  2. Mix cooked squash, cooked ground beef, cooked bacon and shredded cheese in your baking dish
  3. Add cream, butter and salt
  4. Mix everything together
  5. Sprinkle the top with cheese and bake for 35-40 minutes (or until the hotdish is fully heated up and cheese is melted)
  6. Enjoy!

Let me know in the comments if you plan to try this recipe. I hope you enjoy it as much as our family does!
