Banana Yogurt Bars

Total Time: 1 hr Difficulty: Intermediate

Looking for an easy animal based dessert? Give these Banana Yogurt Bars a try!

I would compare these bars to a very, very moist cake.

They are naturally sweetened and perfect for curbing your sweet tooth!

They are made with:

  • bananas
  • plain greek yogurt
  • eggs
  • maple syrup
  • vanilla extract
  • cinnamon
  • baking powder
  • salt
  • (plus topped with homemade Buttercream Frosting)

Here’s how we make it:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  2. Line an 8×8 (or similar) baking dish with parchment paper
  3. Mix together the bananas, yogurt, eggs, maple syrup and vanilla until combined
  4. In a separate dish, mis together the cinnamon, baking powder and salt
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until combined
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish with parchment paper
  7. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean and it’s done looking wet on the top
  8. Let the bars cool for at least 5 minutes and transfer to a cooling rack to finish cooling
  9. Top with homemade Buttercream Frosting and enjoy!
