If you don’t like spaghetti squash, there’s a chance you’ve just been cooking it wrong all along.
Undercooked spaghetti squash is terrible, so I’m sharing how I get delicious spaghetti squash, every time, without following a complicated recipe.
This delicious side could not be easier to prepare and makes a great addition to any meal!

What you’ll need:
- 1 Spaghetti Squash
- 1-2 TBSP Butter
How to make it:
- Line a cookie sheet or baking pan with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Slice the spaghetti squash from the stem down to the base
- If it’s too hard to cut place the entire squash in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees – this will soften it slightly, making it easier to cut
- After it’s cut, use a spoon to remove the seeds
- Once seeds are removed, drizzle 1-2 tbsp of melted butter inside of the squash
- Place the squash on your baking pan (so the skin is facing up) and place in the oven
- Bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until the squash is very tender and can easily be pierced with a fork
- Remove from the oven and lightly scrape the squash using a fork to resemble spaghetti noodles and enjoy!
